Sally L. (Draggoo) Cox, 91, of Auburn, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at 11:48 p.m.
She was born on May 10, 1934, in Auburn, Indiana, to Clifton L. and Fern A. (Taylor) Draggoo.
Sally was employed at the Auburn Foundry in Human Resources and retired after 17 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Fern Draggoo; husband, William J. Cox; longtime companion of 26 years, Thomas J. Brita; and a sister, Jane Griffith.
She is survived by four children, Susan (James) Berkey, of Fremont, Indiana, David (Kim) Cox, of Fremont, Indiana, Debra (Stephen) Shipe, of Angola, Indiana, and John (Carol) Cox, of Auburn, Indiana; six grandchildren, Erin (Michael) Thomason, Ryan (Liz) Cox, Adam Shipe, Nichole (Andrew) Robarge, Matthew Berkey and William Berkey; great-grandchildren, Madeline Cox, Samual Cox, Miles Thomason, Callen Robarge, Lucas Robarge, Evan Robarge, Nora Robarge and Rhett Shipe; and several nieces and nephews.
She loved her family and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sally was a member of First United Methodist Church in Auburn.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with visitation from 1-2 p.m., prior to the service.
The Rev. Robert Barton will be officiating.
Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
Visitation also will be from 4-7 p.m., on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at the funeral home.
