Scott A Boxberger

Scott A. Boxberger, 62, of McCordsville, Indiana passed away at his home on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

Born on October 1, 1963, in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, Scott was the beloved son of Gerald and Joyce (Zink) Boxberger. His parents survive and reside in St. Joe, Indiana.

Scott retired from Ecolab in Fishers in 2018 after many years of dedicated service.

He was a member of Holy Spirit of Geist Catholic Church in Fishers, Indiana.

Scott found joy in many things throughout his life, but nothing brought him greater happiness than his family. He was a devoted husband, proud father, and steadfast supporter of his children. His children were the center of his life. Whether cheering from the sidelines at a sporting event, applauding at a school program, or simply spending time together, Scott never missed an opportunity to show Jeffrey and Paige how deeply they were loved. His family will forever cherish the memories of his enthusiasm for Christmas and Halloween, holidays he celebrated with excitement and contagious joy.

Scott embraced life fully and found joy in being involved in the things that mattered most to him. He was a Boy Scout and proudly became a scout leader when his son joined scouting, sharing in that experience together. He was also a former volunteer firefighter and enjoyed the friendships and memories he made through Kessler's Kountry Line Dancing in Auburn, a place that held a special meaning in his life as it was where he and Stacey met. Years later, they brought their children there to learn and share in the joy of dancing together as a family.

In his free time, Scott loved building models, cheering on his favorite NASCAR driver, Jeff Gordon, and faithfully supporting the Indianapolis Colts, Notre Dame Fighting Irish football, and Purdue Boilermakers football. He found happiness in simple pleasures, time with loved ones, and creating lasting memories with those he cared about most.

He married Stacey Pierce on April 25, 1998 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Auburn and she survives.

Also surviving is a son, Jeffrey Boxberger and his fiancé, Chantal Baker of McCordsville; daughter and son-in-law, Paige and Jonah Robinson of McCordsville; sister and brother-in-law, Tracy and Craig Ferguson of St. Joe; brother-in-law, Gary Pierce of McCordsville; niece Kally Myers and her husband Patrick and their daughter, MiKenzie Myers of Auburn; nephew, Kory Ferguson and his wife Courtney and their daughter and son, Jaylynn Ferguson and Mason Ferguson of St. Joe.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Phyllis Pierce.

A Mass of Catholic burial will be held at 10 AM Friday, July 3, 2026 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 500 East 7th Street, Auburn, IN 46706 with burial to follow in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Auburn. Visitation is Thursday, July 2nd, from 3 to 7 PM at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn. Additional visitation is an hour prior to the service from 9 to 10 AM Friday at the church.
