Sherry Ann “Shash” Quaderer, 66, of Ashley, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, surrounded by her four sons and their wives at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
Sherry was born on Nov. 9, 1958, in Parma, Ohio, to Milton and Sandra (Wyrock) Noss.
Sherry was an extremely proud mother of four boys. In addition to being a mom, she owned and operated her own cleaning business and was a cashier for various businesses in Indiana, and Florida.
“Shash” loved spending time with her grandkids and her most favorite place in the world was the beach. She also enjoyed camping with family and friends, and loved classic rock and going to concerts. Her favorites included John Waite, Bob Seger, Def Leopard and Journey, just to name a few. Her most recent pastime was binge-watching Judge Judy, Magnum P.I., and Gordon Ramsey. Sherry also had a special affection for animals, especially her beloved cat, Stink.
Surviving are four sons, Stephen (Kacey) Quaderer, of Gas City, Dustin (Angela VanGompel) Quaderer, of Fremont, Mike (Twoey) Quaderer, of Ashley and Matthew (Amanda) Quaderer, of Hamilton; seven grandchildren, Nolan Quaderer, Kallen Quaderer, Jalynn Quaderer, Maddox Quaderer, Olivia Clifford, Kennedy Forrest and Hayden DeLucenay; four great-grandchildren, Kinlee Baker, Natalynn Marten, Dallas Clifford and Sawyer Forrest; and three siblings, Laurie Hoffman, David (Teri) Noss and Dale Noss.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Stephen G. Quaderer; longtime companion, James C. Bailey; brother, Doug Noss; a sister-in-law, Sue Noss; and a brother-in-law, Terry Hoffman.
An open-house style “Celebration of Life Party” will take place from 2- 6 p.m., on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Steuben County Park, 100 N. 101B, Crooked Lake, Angola, IN 46703.
In lieu of flowers or wind chimes, memorials may be made to the “Shash Foundation” for her grandchildren, in care of Steve Quaderer, 515 E. Main St., Gas City, IN 46933.
