Shirley Davis Obituary

Shirley A Davis, 86 passed away Wednesday January 14, 2026.

She was born March 20, 1939 in Fort Wayne to Vern C. and Daisy (Lewis) Dick.

Shirley worked as a nurse's aid at the former Byron Health Center in Fort Wayne.

She was an active member of the Church at Garrett. Former member of Churubusco VFW Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed watching her cubbies play baseball. Her children say she made the very best pineapple upside down cake.

Shirley married Lewis E Davis in 1981 in Columbia City and he passed away in 2022.

Surviving are 4 children, Timothy (Pam) Baker of Auburn, Abbie (Tim) Noll of Kendallville, Ralph Michael Baker of Nappanee and Karen Sanford of Auburn;8 grandchildren, Scott (Kourtney) Baker, Ryan (Carol) Baker, Matthew Noll, Michael Baker, Richard Baker, Amanda Lieb, Emily Lieb, Kimberly Lieb and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, great grandson, Terrence Baker, brother, Jerry Dick and a sister, Betty Bleich.

Services are 2 PM Monday, January 19, 2026 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN with private family burial in Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam. Visitation is 2 hours prior to the service from 12 to 2 Monday at the funeral home. Memorials can be given in memory of Shirley to the Church at Garrett.
