Shirley A. (Cramer) Hall

Shirley A. Hall, 89 of Auburn, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

She was born on November 9, 1935 in Altona, Indiana to Gailard and Nora (Smith) Cramer.  She was a 1953 graduate of Garrett High School.

Shirley married Charles Hall on September 18, 1954 in Garrett.  He resides in Auburn. 

She attended the Sherwood School of Music in Chicago, Illinois.  For 42 years Shirley gave piano lessons in her home, touching many lives along the way.  She retired in 1999. 

Shirley was a member of the Garrett Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed making ceramics, coloring and gardening.  She also enjoyed taking cruises, especially to England and Europe.   

Survivors include:

Her husband of nearly 71 years, Charles Hall of Auburn.

Son and daughter-in-law, David and Rose Hall of Auburn.

Daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Dan Holben of Summerville, South Carolina.

Three grandchildren and their spouses, Kerri and Blake VanCleave, Josh and Sarah Hall and Brandi and Mark Hebert.

Four great grandchildren, Mason, Ella, Ethan and Breanne.

Sister, Linda Cramer of Auburn.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Craig Sonner and brother, Gene Cramer.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn. 

Funeral services will be held following the visitation on Tuesday at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. 

Burial will take place at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.

Memorial donations may be made in memory of Shirley to the Garrett Presbyterian Church, 201 South Franklin Street, Garrett, Indiana 46738.
