Shirley Hatina Obituary

Hamilton – Shirley K Hatina, 73 of Hamilton passed away Tuesday January 13, 2026 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

She was born August 7, 1952 in Auburn to Thomas P and Delores L (Pinney) Nichols. They have both passed away as has a brother, Roger Nichols.

Shirley worked at Universal in Butler for a number of years then for Dana Corporation in Auburn before retiring in 2009.

She enjoyed putting puzzles together, and traveling, especially the trips to Iowa and the Bahamas. She also loved to ride motorcycles with her husband and other family members.

Shirley married Frank E Hatina on January 27, 1996 in Waterloo and he survives.

She is also survived by 2 daughters and a son, Rachel Stafford of Billings, Montana, Allen (Tara) Eddy of Butler and Amanda (Michael) Jackson of St. Joe; 7 grandchildren, Josh (Kirstin) Eddy, Caitlain Maldeney, Michelle (Cole) Vardaman, Sky Jackson, Madison Jackson, Megan (Stephan) Otto, Keith (Miriam) Stafford and 12 great grandchildren; brother, Denny (Laurie) Pinney of Auburn.

Services will be 2 pm Tuesday January 20, 2026 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn with burial to follow the service in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn. Calling is 2 hours prior to the service Tuesday from 12 to 2 at the funeral home. Memorials can be given in memory of Shirley to Davita Dialysis.
