Shirley Jean Rohrs, 76, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at her home in Auburn.
She was born July 24, 1948, in Auburn, Indiana to Ray Daniel and Helen Marie (Squires) Keller.
Shirley was a 1966 graduate of Eastside High School.
She married David John Rohrs on July 20, 1968, in Auburn.
Shirley worked for North American Van Lines in Fort Wayne and then for CRST Specialized Solutions in Fort Wayne, retiring in 2025.
She attended Grabill Missionary Church.
Shirley had a passion for music and served a role through the church as one of a couple organists.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, David John Rohrs of Auburn; daughter and son-in-law, Alison Kay and Brad Derickson of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Lynn Derickson, Olivia Reese Derickson, Declan Xavier Derickson, and Korra Ann Derickson; and a brother, Thomas L. Keller of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Grabill Missionary Church, 13637 State St., Grabill, with visitation from 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
Pastor Kevin Brown will be officiating.
Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
Visitation also will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo.
