Steven "Pork" E. Bainbridge

Steven “Pork” E. Bainbridge, age 63, of Waterloo passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Parkview DeKalb Hospital in Auburn.

He was born on June 8, 1958 in Garrett to Robert and Rhoada (Rudolph) Bainbridge.  He was a 1977 graduate of DeKalb High School.

Pork drove truck and farmed for most of his life.  He worked for the DeKalb County Farm Bureau Co-op for 14 years, he worked for Clifford Farms for 11 years and he was an independent truck driver hauling livestock for 14 years.  He retired in 2018.  He was a member of the Waterloo United Methodist Church and he was a huge NASCAR fan.  This year would have made 35 consecutive annual races that he attended at Michigan International Speedway.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

His sweetheart; Kelly Hipskind of Waterloo.

Son and daughter-in-law; Bradley and Becca Bainbridge of Garrett.

Daughter and son-in-law; Jennifer and Nathan Fike of Auburn.

Daughter and son-in-law; Mariah and Nathan Sturges of Leo.

Daughter and son-in-law; Tayler and Jimmy Leakey of Auburn.

Ten grandchildren; Megan Fike and Carter Back, Natalie Fike, Chloe Keller, Eli Bainbridge, Kaycee Bainbridge, Navayla Hipskind, Zyliana Hipskind, Katarayla Sturges, Ivuh Sturges and Adalyn Hipskind.

He was excited to meet his first great grandchild later this year. 

Three sisters and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will he held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 4:00 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street in Waterloo.  Additional visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral Home.  

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Misty Gillian officiating.
