Sue A. (Woolum) Flaugh

Sue A. Flaugh, age 79, of Ashley passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at her Ashley home.

Mrs. Flaugh was born on July 27, 1942 in Pineville, Kentucky to Mack and Millie (Knuckles) Woolum.

She married Ronald C. Flaugh on April 15, 1961 in Fort Wayne.  He resides in Ashley.

Sue enjoyed photography, traveling and she always had a big flower garden.  She also liked boating on the lake and camping.  She and Ron attended a Methodist church in Fort Wayne.  Family was very important to Sue.  She loved spending time with her family, she was a wonderful wife, mom and grandma.

Survivors Include:

Her husband of 60 years; Ron Flaugh of Ashley.

Son and daughter-in-law; Robert and Tina Flaugh of Ashley.

Daughter and son-in-law; Lora and Carl Mandelbaum of New York, New York.

Son; Donald Flaugh and Tammy Wenhart of Tri-Lakes.

Son and daughter-in-law; Timothy and Chris Flaugh of Syracuse, Indiana.

Four grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Sister; Doris Flauding of Spring Hill, Florida.

Sister; Rose Gibson of Fort Wayne.

Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sue’s best friend; Sue Hamilton of Blue Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life will be held for Sue at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 203 East State Street in Ashley.
