Hamilton - Thomas M. Cool, 71, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Parkview Randallia in Fort Wayne.
He was born April 26, 1950, in Angola to Donald and Maxine (Sanders) Cool.
Tom married Rebecca A. Fetzer on September 9, 1968, in Pleasant Lake, and she passed away February 15, 2007.
He worked for International Harvester in Fort Wayne, was an auto body repairman at Don’s Auto Sales in Hamilton and was a truck driver for Klink Trucking in Ashley and Country Stone in Waterloo.
Tom was a member of the Hamilton Fish and Game Club and was a former member of the Butler Eagles.
Tom enjoyed going on hunting trips with the guys, riding his horse(actually a mule named Red Bud), spending time with family and friend and loved watching the grandkids take part in their sporting events.
Surviving are two sons and their spouses, Rodney and Alicia Cool of Hamilton, and Toby and Kim Cool of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Dustin Cool, Ryan Cool, Myileigh Cool and Adam (Kyle) Cool; two great grandchildren, Ella Mog and Bryer Jones; and a sister-in-law, Marsha Peters of Hicksville, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, and three brothers, Lanny Cool, Dave Cool and Kevin Cool.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hamilton Life Center, 4001 Terry Lake Rd., Hamilton, with Jeff Alexander officiating.
Burial will take place at Eddy Cemetery in rural Hamilton.
Visitation will be from noon – 2 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service at the Hamilton Life Center.
Memorials may be directed to the Hamilton Fire Department or Hamilton Fish and Game Club.
