Thomas H. “Tom” Duke Jr., 51, of Waterloo, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 21,2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born March 11, 1970, in Auburn.
Tom worked for several years as a forklift driver in shipping and receiving for Janus in Butler.
Tom enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time on his motorcycle.
He is survived by a son, Carter A.P. Woodford of Waterloo; mother, Vada E. (McDougall) Albright of Waterloo; father, Thomas H. Duke of Florida; brother, Gary McCandlish of Auburn; and a sister, Esther “Cookie” Zuber of Montpelier, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Todd McCandlish; and his stepfather, Fredrick “Bill” Albright.
A gathering of friends and family will take place from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home on 875 S. Wayne Street in Waterloo.
There will be a private memorial service taking place at the funeral home with the Rev. Ralph Diehl officiating.
