Thomas J. Griffin

Garrett – Thomas J Griffin, 80 died Sunday November 12, 2023 at his home in Garrett.

He was born in Auburn on May 10, 1943 to Warren and Elizabeth (Lung) Griffin.

Thomas was a machinist and farmer.

He was a member of the First Church of Christ in Garrett.

He married Sandra Kay Gaff on July 27, 1963 in Garrett and she passed away on October 26, 2018.

Surviving are 2 sons, a daughter and their spouses, Anthony and Kathy Griffin of Garrett, Gregory and Jeanine Griffin of Auburn and Pamela and Thomas Orwig of Corunna; 6 grandchildren, Andrew (Kristen) Orwig, Aaron (Breanna) Orwig, Justin Griffin, Quentin (Chelsea) Griffin, Emily (Gabriel) Myers, and Hope (Corey) Fugate; 2 step grandchildren, Cassie (Josh) Ashenfelter and Lance Yarde; 10 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Maynard (Shirley) Griffin of Auburn and Richard (Shirley) Griffin of Garrett; brothers and sisters in laws, Carol and Bud Hathaway of Garrett and Judy and Don Francis of Garrett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a great grandson.

Services will be 11 AM Wednesday November 15, 2023 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN 46706 with Brother Bud Owen officiating. Burial will follow the service in Christian Union Cemetery, Garrett. Calling is 2 hours prior to the service Wednesday from 9 to 11 at the funeral home.
