Thomas "Tom" Rosenberry

Butler – Thomas “Tom” Rosenberry, 74, passed away Wednesday October 30, 2024 at his home in Butler.

He was born March 26, 1950 in Auburn to William “Bill” and Donna (Hart) Rosenberry. They have both passed away.

Tom was a 1968 graduate of Eastside High School. He attended Indiana University for a year until he convinced his mother that he wanted to dig in the dirt like his father and grandfather. He owned and operated Rosenberry Backhoe Service and retired from Geiger Excavating.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Charles Foster Blaker Post # 202 American Legion of Butler, the Hamilton Fish and Game Club and a lifetime member of the NRA.

Surviving is a daughter and son in law, Julie and Troy Williams of Butler; 2 grandchildren, Dalton Dickerhoof and Makenzie Gardner and her husband Mackenzie; 5 great grandchildren, Daxton Dickerhoof, Decklan Gardner, Quinton Gardner, Lawson Gardner and Madelyn Gardner; 2 Step grandchildren, Mikayla Williams and Troy Williams; 2 sisters and brother in laws, Nancy and Don Dohner of Crystal River, Florida and Jean and Tom Haupert of Butler; 2 nieces, 3 nephews and a dear friend of 17 years, Cathy Bowen.

Services will be 11 AM Wednesday November 6, 2024 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN with burial to follow in Butler Cemetery, Butler, IN. Calling will be Tuesday from 2 to 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials can be given in memory of Tom to the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, 4099 CR 59, Butler, IN 46721.
