Tristen Till Obituary

Tristen Adam Till, 28, of Waterloo, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born January 9, 1998, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Tristen was a 2016 graduate of Huntington North High School.

There was a time Tristen lived fully for the world, searching and striving in places that could never satisfy. But in God’s mercy, the Lord called him to Himself. He became hungry for the Word of God, eager to grow, to sharpen his faith, and to boldly share what the Lord had done in his life.

As 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” Tristen’s life is a testimony of redemption — proof that The God who calls is faithful to complete His work.

He worked for Inspiration Ministries in Kendallville as a house manager for a year. During the time at the ministry, he continued to grow in his faith in God and also shared that faith with many others who also struggled in life.  He spent many hours reading the Bible and was able to quote scripture that related to life and things that were going on. He also read many other books relating to God,  His passion was to know God and live for him.

He then started working for Quick Tanks Inc. in Kendallville as a painter for the past 2 ½ years.

Tristen married the love of his life, Anna J. Beckman on October 28, 2023, in Randolph, Minnesota.

Tristen was a man who loved God, after which, he loved Anna faithfully and lovingly and was such an amazing dad. He loved spending time together and worshiping together.  This included singing praises to the LORD, reading the Bible and praying together.   Any chance they could, they would encourage others to worship God with them, by singing and reading scripture.  He was also a very loving and caring father, making sure Libby was well loved and cared for.

Tristen was a member of Reformed Baptist Church in Auburn.

He loved the Thursday night Bible study and was so eager to go to it.

He looked forward to being part of a Men’s Bible Study every Saturday morning with friends and then bringing back whatever he learned to share it with his wife.

He was a part of two life groups for multiple years which he thoroughly appreciated and grew from. He also took delight in sharing the Gospel with anyone who would listen.

He enjoyed taret shooting, disc golf, playing the guitar, and most importantly, worshiping his Savior and spending time with family.

Till of Waterloo; daughter, Libby Till along with a child on the way; father, Adam Till of Truesdale, Missouri; mother and stepfather, Jami Fox and Ronald Fox Jr. of Huntington; three siblings, Mikenzie (Tyler) Till Morgan of Roann, Nikita Jacobs of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and John “JJ” Porter of Huntington; four step-siblings, Brittany Mcdaniel of Fort Wayne, Shannan Mcdaniel of Warren, Cadence Fox of Fort Wayne, and Natanie Cowan of Wolf Lake; paternal grandparents Clifford and Stephanie Till, and maternal grandparent Cindy Anderson; grandparents-in-law Larry and Marleen Beckman; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jeffery and Cheryl Beckman; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Matthew (Alyssa) Beckman, Melissa Beckman, Krista Beckman-Gonzalez, Nathan (Katlyn) Beckman, Alisa Beckman, Jenna Beckman, Lynnea Beckman and Isaiah Beckman; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
