Virginia I. Oberlin, 81, of Garrett, Indiana, passed away on Monday, Feb. 10, 2025, at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn.
She was born on Aug. 5, 1943, in Auburn, Indiana, to Otis and Violet (Lower) Fee.
Virginia worked for Ball Brass and Aluminum in Auburn and later for Air-Way Manufacturing in Waterloo.
She enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing, especially to The Gears, being outside, family cook-outs, going to yard sales, going to the races, playing the card game, Skip-Bo, and loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are four children, Jerry and Rose Oberlin, of Garrett, Teresa Kay Moore, of Garrett, Dallas Julow, of Auburn and Howard and Janice Julow, of Butler; 19 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Janet Fletcher, of Ray, Michigan, Frances Laws, of Auburn and Beverly Briggs, of Reading, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tina Marie Rhodes; two grandchildren, Tasha Marie Rhodes and Joel Lynn Kistler; great-grandchild, Keeli Badman Melchi; two brothers, Dick Fee and Donald Fee; and two sisters, Dorathy Gwen and Carol Harrington.
Services will be at noon on Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo, with Pastor Robert Boston officiating.
Burial will take place at Waterloo Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, prior to the service at the funeral home.
