Virginia L. “Ginny” Roberts, 99, of Auburn, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at home.
She was born October 30, 1925, in New Haven, Indiana to Harvey R. and Blanche (Ross) Parks.
Virginia married Eugene H. Roberts on August 20, 1949, in New Haven, Indiana, and he passed away on March 14, 2014.
She worked for Rhinehart Manufacturing for 21 years, retiring in 1985.
Virginia was an active member of Life Redeemed Apostolic in Butler. She was a mighty prayer warrior who shared her faith freely.
Surviving are two children, Susan J. McFarland of Ashley, and Stanley E. and Jean Roberts of Auburn; four grandchildren, Scott Johnson, Chad Roberts, Brendan McFarland and Alicen Roberts; 10 great grandchildren, Kyle, Kendall, Nick, Christopher Jr., Jaedyn, Cameron, Aylah, Reece, Georgia and Christopher; and six great-great grandchildren, Emma, Braxton, Auggie, Evie, Eleanor and Oliver.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Chris E. Roberts; four sisters, Betty Wagner, Velma Pancake, Emma McCormick and Helen “Joan” Lough; and four brothers, Dolphis “Paul” Parks, Morris Parks, Harold Parks and Wayne Parks.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with visitation from 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. The Rev. Randall Rinehart will be officiating.
Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
Visitation will be from 4 – 7 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2025, at the funeral home.
