Wanda I (Hawk) Barse

Auburn – Wanda I Barse, 90, of Auburn, passed away Saturday March 15, 2025 at Parkview DeKalb Hospital in Auburn.

She was born September 15, 1934 in Auburn to Leo P and Tracy M (Bassett) Hawk.

Wanda was a homemaker and a member of the Auburn Church of the Nazarene.

She married George W Barse on April 26, 1952 in Elkhart and he passed away September 11, 2000.

She is survived by 2 daughters, 2 sons and their spouses, Cathy and Terry Bruner of Auburn, Mitch and Dorothy Barse of Auburn, Lynda and Charlie Summers of Auburn and Matt and Tracy Barse of Waterloo; 9 grandchildren, Traci Farling, Tyler Farling, Levi (Kate) Barse, Jacob (Ashley) Barse, Ethan (Lauren) Barse, Brittany (Nick) Barger, Meghan (Travis) Burns, Cameron Barse and Courtney Barse; 12 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Glenda Moore of Auburn and Linda Hawk of Auburn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law, Robert Farling and a brother-in-law, Paul Moore.

Private Family Services will be Wednesday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN 46706. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Auburn.
