Warren G. Hamman, 74 of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
He was born on November 18, 1951 in Garrett, Indiana to Wayne and Wava (Dailey) Hamman. He was a 1969 graduate of Hamilton High School.
Warren married Sherry Rittenhouse on July 24, 1976 in Kensington, Maryland. She resides in Auburn.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Kendallville. Warren never met a stranger and could carry on a conversation with anyone. He was an avid gardener, and lived for walking his dog, Lady. He was also the master of telling dad jokes. Most important to Warren was spending time with his family, he especially loved watching his grandson’s play sports. He will be greatly missed!

Daughter, Pualani Wiley of Syracuse, New York.
Daughter, Alicia Shipe of Auburn.
Daughter and son-in-law, Cherisse and Larry Smith of Auburn.
Daughter and son-in-law, Alanna and Jason Burke of Auburn.
Daughter and son-in-law, Tanica and Brian Burger of Pleasant Lake.
Daughter, Mariah Hamman and Derek Furrow of Bluffton.
Twelve grandchildren, Linnaea, Colden, Brianna, Cameron, Alexis, Kalia, Fiona, Maddox, Beckett, Mikah, Elijah and Preston.
One great granddaughter, Juniper.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Joshua Hamman.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn.
Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at the Waterloo Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Warren to ACRES Land Trust, 1802 Chapman Road, PO Box 665, Huntertown, Indiana 46748.
