William “Bill” R. Wible, 72 of Garrett, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at his Garrett residence.
He was born on December 29, 1953 in Auburn to Lawrence and Iris (Penland) Wible. He graduated from DeKalb High School before earning his Bachelor’s Degree from IUPUI and later his Juris Doctorate in Law from IU.
Bill married Patricia “Pat” M. Lincoln on June 20, 1981 at Lake of the Woods, Indiana. She resides in Garrett.
He was a private attorney practicing law out of his law office in Angola for 41 years, retiring in 2020. He was also a real estate instructor for the Indiana Center for Real Estate Education for many years. He also served as a referee for DeKalb Superior Court in 25 years. After his retirement, Bill worked at the Waterloo Train Depot.
Bill was a member of the Optimus Club in Auburn. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Wible of Garrett; two sons, Eric James Wible of Garrett and Alexander Lawrence and Kelsey Wible of Seattle, Washington; daughter, Kelley M. Wible of Garrett; three grandchildren, Malaki Lincoln Wible, Stetson Cole Wible and one foster grandson and sister and brother-in-law, Carole and Richard Wheeler of Sun City West, Arizona.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James R. Wible and David L. Wible.
Per Bill’s wishes, no services will be held.
Memorial donations may be made to the Feller and Clark Funeral Home to help with expenses.
