Zach A. Deetz

Zach A. Deetz, 60, of Auburn, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Auburn Village in Auburn, Indiana.

He was born January 12, 1961, in Auburn to Max O. and Mildred (Williams) Deetz. They have both preceded him in death.

Zach was a 1979 graduate of DeKalb High School.

Zach managed The Hangar in Auburn for several years. He then worked for New Millennium Building Systems in Butler for 3 years.

Surviving are two brothers and a sister-in-law, Max E. Deetz of Auburn, and Rex and Fay Deetz of Auburn; two nieces, Tammy (Tony) Baker of Waterloo and Kim Schenk of Auburn; two nephews, Nathan Deetz and Travis Deetz of Fort Wayne; six great nephews, Zeth (Sarah) Baker, Riley Baker, Spencer Baker, Mason Baker, Ty Schenk and Gabe Schenk; great great-niece, Kinlee Baker; and two good friends, Mitch Hamman and Mark Murdock.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn.

Burial will take place at Pleasant Lake Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2021, prior to the service at the funeral home.
