Dear Mona and Kathy and family,
I am sorry I was unable to attend the funeral and I wanted to extend to you my condolences in the loss of Doris. I always liked, respected, and appreciated her - in school, church and anywhere. She was a delightful person. She always struck me as very efficient at whatever she did. She seemed to delight in everything she did as well. Such a lovely person.

I remember your mom as one of the most poised, personable and elegant women of St. Mark's. She and your dad are memories of my youth and early adult years. She was a beautiful role model. Her passing will be a great loss to many. Bless you and your families.

Mona, Kathy & Family,
Your mom was very special to us. From the moment we became her neighbor she was a friend forever. The first day we moved in next door to her and Roger she came to our house and invited us over to their home. Her kindness was genuine, and when she moved away from Auburn, we kept in touch with Christmas cards. You could tell how proud she was of her family. We will truly miss this special lady!

I was so sorry to read that your mom passed away. I hold many wonderful memories of her. We sure had lots of fun growing up.
