Jack H Erbaugh, 86 died Thursday August 30, 2012 at his home in Auburn with his family by his side.
He was born Oct. 22, 1925 in Bourbon, IN to Paul Webster and Carol (Fribley) Erbaugh.
Jack was a WWII US Army Veteran. He served as the automotive warehouse manager for the Eastern Half of the Ismus of Panama.
He was a 1949 graduate of Purdue University. He was a pharmacist, owning and operating the Walkerton Pharmacy in Walkerton then Peoples Drug Store in Plymouth. He finished his career at Hooks Drug Store in Culver, retiring in 1988.
He was a member of the Walkerton United Methodist Church, Moose Lodge, Masonic Lodge and American Legion.
Jack was a good and loving husband, father and grandfather.
He married Marjory (McIntosh) Glaze on July 19, 1970 in Walkerton and she survives in Auburn.
Also surviving are 2 daughters and a son, Janice (Blake) Mevis of Punta Gorda, FL, Dan Erbaugh of Auburn, Jill (Steve) Hall of Knoxville, TN; a step son and daughter, Gary (Cheryl) Glaze of Kendallville and Dian (Rick) Furniss of Fort Wayne; 4 grandchildren, Gina (David) Mevis-Pittman, Blake (Amber) Mevis II, Spencer (Emily) Hall and Bethany (Stephen) Handley; 2 step grandchildren, Renee (Mark) Michaels and Richie (Julie) Furniss; 10 great grandchildren, Benton Pittman, Peyton Pittman, Caroline Mevis, Madeline Mevis, Andrew Hall, Kaitlyn Hall, Aimee Hall, William Michaels, Addie Michaels and Alexia Zawadzke.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother James Erbaugh and a sister Nancy (Erbaugh) Emmons.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday September 8, 2012 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street, Auburn, IN. Memorials can be directed to the American Lung Association or DeKalb Home Health Care and Hospice.
