Patricia Ann Carper, age 88, of Auburn went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at DeKalb Health surrounded by her family. 

Mrs. Carper was born on March 30, 1929 in South Bend to Howard and Flossie (Peabody) Ohmart.  She graduated from Auburn High School in 1947.

She married Forrest Carper on January 12, 1948.  He preceded her in death on December 7, 1988. 

Mrs. Carper was a homemaker.  She loved playing bingo.

Survivors include: 

Daughter; June Genson of Auburn.

Son and daughter-in-law; Roger and Diane Carper of Butler.

Son and daughter-in-law; Danny and Tammy Carper of Butler.

Daughter; Peg Grabill and her fiancé Kim of Auburn.

5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Forrest and one brother.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn. 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Auburn.

Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Steve Ardhuerumly. 

Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
