AUBURN — Steven J. Hoff, 56, of Auburn, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at his home in Auburn. He was born February 17, 1960, in Angola to Albert M. and Helen K. (Buttermore) Hoff. He had worked at Rieke Corporation in Auburn for 38 years since 1978. Steve was a Dale Earnhardt fan and had attended the Indianapolis 500 for the past 30 years. He was a fan of music, having a very large CD collection, and enjoyed sports, especially the Purdue Boilermakers. He is survived by two brothers and a sister, James (Jackie) Hoff of Waterloo, Margaret (Ronald) Sawchuk of Angola and Karl (Patricia) Hoff of Waterloo; a sister-in-law, Lin Hoff of LaGrange, Georgia; a brother-in-law, Terry (Joy) Hartman of Columbia City; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John C Hoff; a sister, Diane Hartman; and a nephew Bradley Hartman. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo from 12 noon to 3 p.m. A private family graveside service will follow at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Waterloo.
