Fort Wayne – Suzie E (Webster) Rieke, 76, died Sunday March 12, 2017 in Fort Wayne.

She was born in Williston, North Dakota on September 4, 1940 to Willard and Nellie Webster, They are both deceased.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Sathe.

Suzie was a member of the P.E.O. Sorority, Tri Kappa Sorority, the former Greenhurst Country Club and the Auburn Presbyterian Church. She was also an avid volunteer with the former DeKalb County American Cancer Society, the former DeKalb County Hospice and American Red Cross.

Suzie enjoyed various cooking schools and shared her love for cooking with her family and friends.

She graduated from Williston High School in 1958 and from University of North Dakota College of Nursing in 1962. She was a nurse in the U.S. Air Force stationed in San Antonio, Texas. Following college where she met her husband of 52 years, Layden T Rieke.

Suzie is survived by her husband Layden and four children, Steven (Tammy) Rieke of Auburn, Lara Habig of Siesta Key, FL, Brian (Sue) Rieke of Auburn and Lisa (Aaron) Rose of Cicero, IN; eleven grandchildren, MaKayla Rieke, Kaitlyn Rieke, Carman Rieke, Daniel Habig, Tyler Habig, Lukas Rieke, Bennett Rieke, Matt Kostielney, Nathan Kostielney, Kylie Rose, Kaci Rose and a sister, Toni (Stan) Wright of Brownwood, Texas.

Services will be at 11 AM Friday March 17, 2017 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, In with Rev Douglas Vogel officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.

Visitation is 4 to 7 Thursday and 1 hour prior to the service Friday from 10 to 11 at the funeral home.

In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to the Auburn Presbyterian Church or the DeKalb Home Health and Hospice.
