KENDALLVILLE — Eileen R. DePew, 85, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at her home in Kendallville.

She was born Jan. 9, 1932, in Kendallville, to the late Claude and Dorothy (Conrad) Kline.

Eileen married John Harold DePew on May 20, 1949, and he passed away July 6, 2012.

She worked for Flint and Walling in Kendallville for 20 years, retiring in 1990.

Eileen’s greatest joy was the love of her family.

Surviving are four children, Harold “Skip” DePew of Kendallville, Penny D. (Max) Powers of Kendallville, Tina M. Beckman of Kendallville and Kelly R. Bryant of Rome City; 13 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ellen Lash of Kendallville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son-in-law, Mike Bryant; a brother, Buddy Kline; and a sister, Claudine Wise.

No services will take place.

Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice.
