AUBURN — Eliner H. Gingrich, 90, of Auburn died Sunday, April 24, 2011, at Laurels of DeKalb Nursing Home in Butler.

Mrs. Gingrich was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Auburn Alliance Church.

She was born Sept. 28, 1920, in Jackson Township, DeKalb County, to Donald and Mary (Weaver) Hawver.

She married Franklin D. Gingrich at the Methodist Church in Auburn on Aug. 16, 1941, with the Rev. Claude Garrison officiating. Mr. Gingrich passed away Dec. 17, 2005.

Surviving are a son, David Gingrich of Boston, Mass.; a daughter and son-in-law, Marymae and Brent Beaty of Auburn; and two grandchildren, Dacian Gingrich of Elyria, Ohio, and Taylor Beaty of DePauw University in Greencastle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Linley Hawver; and a sister, Helen H. Johnson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Feller & Clark Funeral Home, 1860 S. Center St., Auburn, with Dean Jewell officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery in Garrett.

Calling will be from 1-2 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
