To Delores Emenhiser and Family:
Though this is a time of grief at the death of a loved one, I remember Larry with a smile of thanksgiving. Our earthly connection was relatively brief in my lifetime (I am now 93), but it was long enough for me to remember with pleasure the cooperation and overall "good guy" presence Larry gave to me when I coached our Church League softball team. And I remember you too, Delores, with the same memory of endearing presence from your working side by side with Esther, years ago, as registrars for a record-setting Riverdale blood bank appearance. And I think it was another "Delores" - Hicov - who was so definitely in charge. Larry has four sons - I have four sons - my present wife's name is Delores......sometimes coincidence seems to create more than "just a connection.".... "Oh give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good, and His mercy endureth forever."

So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. He was great friend of Dad;s for several years as he and Donnie Sechler, and Jerry Vinson would come by my Dad's house almost every morning for coffee and conversation. That little group meant a lot to my Dad and I am grateful for Larry's participation. These are the kind of people that make our community great. And a special condolences to Lonny whom I coached in Pony League. It was easy to tell he came from a great family.
