Theresa Rose Kruger
Avilla – Theresa Rose Kruger, 97 also known as Tode or Todie, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 10, 2015 at Sacred Heart Home in Avilla.
She was born December 1, 1917 to John W and Margaret (Crary) Kintz. She was raised and adapted by her maternal grandparents Grant and Caroline Crary.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed Fishing, making sugar cookies and baking bread.
She married Charles E Kruger on July 22, 1933 and he passed away June 1974.
She is survived by a son and 2 daughters, Richard (Thelma) Kruger of Auburn, Virginia Bock of Kendallville and Janice (Robert) Nodine of Garrett; a daughter in law, Judy Kruger of Auburn; former in laws, Rebecca Kruger-Wolff of Auburn and Max Bock of Garrett; grandchildren, Susan Bergdall, Robert Kruger, Sandra Surfus, Sheri Cutler, Denise Woodcock, Laura Eckert, Amy Pierce, Jennifer Antrup, Molly Morrow, DeWayne Nodine, Valerie Ludwig; Great grandchildren, Adam Bergdall, Derek Bergdall, Grant Surfus, Lindsay Swartz, Kelly Flowtow, Johnny Carroll, Zachary Hoyt, Elizabeth Moore, Lisa Crespo, Alex Cutler, Aaron Cutler, Justin Eckert, Rachel Gilson, Victoria Trasker, Lacy Gilbert, Emily Morrow, September Slone, Tiffany Ludwig, Chad Ludwig, Nicole Haywood, Kaitlyn Kruger-Patchin, Lauren Kruger-Patchin; Great Great grandchildren, Courtney Bergdall, Ashton Bergdall, Brooke Bergdall, Spencer Moore, Faith Moore, Logan Moore, Hunter Moore, Robert Crespo Jr, Ethan Crespo, Elliot Crespo, Rilyn Flotow, Hadley Flotow, Aiden Cutler,Lorelei Gilson, Julia Eckert, Alex Gilbert, Trevor Morrow, Lilliana Morrow, Mercedes Aquilar, Alondra Aquilar, Sebastian Aquilar, Tianna Thompson and Alex Owen.
She was preceded in death by her parents,  husband, a son Warren Kruger and 2 sisters, Geniva Wood and Wilma Smith.
Services are 2:30 Thursday January 15, 2015 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN with Rev David Mix officiating. Burial will be in Christian Union Cemetery, Garrett. Calling is 2 hours prior to the service Thursday from 12:30 to 2:30 at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to the First Baptist Church, Garrett or Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home of Fort Wayne.
