Vince D. Grogg, age 51, of Spencerville passed away on August 20, 2016 at his Spencerville home. 

Mr. Grogg was born on October 10, 1964 in Auburn to Walter “Pete” and Nancy (Keener) Grogg.  His mother preceded him in death.         

 

Vince worked at Butler Mill Service for 18 years as a purchaser. In the past he had worked for Farmers Ag, Grogg Farms, DeKalb Eastern Schools and C&A Transport.  He enjoyed coaching softball for the Riverdale Youth League.  He was an avid Colts fan!     


Survivors include: 

His parents; Walter “Pete” and Carol (Place) Grogg of Butler.

Sister and brother-in-law; Kelly and Richard Brock of Butler.

Step-daughter and son-in-law; Misty and Todd Spicer of St. Joe.

Step-son and Daughter-in-law; James Roark III and Jennifer of Garrett.

Step-son; Rob High of Auburn.

Step-daughter; Amanda Shady of Kingston, Arkansas.

Step-grandchildren; Kaylea Bruggner, Lucian Bruggner, Izzak Bruggner, Faith Spicer, Trevor Roark, Channing High, Wyatt High, Saraphina Shady and Myklyn Shady.

Nephews; Kyle Brock and Ryan Brock.

Niece; Erika Brock.

Aunts; Betty Keener and Mary Keener both of Bryan, Ohio.

 

He was preceded in death by his mother; Nancy Grogg, grandparents; Russell and Helen Grogg, Lavern and Garnet Keener and Everett and Esther Place, brother; Todd Grogg and uncle; Harold Keener.

 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 11:00 AM the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn. 

 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Auburn.  Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the funeral service. 

 

Officiating will be Pastor Jay Bland of Dayspring Community Church in Auburn.

 

Burial will take place at Butler Cemetery in Butler.

 

Memorials may be directed to Riverdale Youth League, Riley Children’s Hospital or Donor’s Choice.
