Palistene “Pat” Cobbs, age 75, of Corunna passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville.
Mrs. Cobbs was born on January 11, 1943 in Hueysville, Kentucky to Ezra and Octavia (Vanderpool) Shepherd.
She married Carl V. Cobbs on October 10, 1964 in Auburn. He resides in Corunna.
Mrs. Cobbs was a homemaker. She was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Wolcottville. Pat enjoyed reading her bible and listening to gospel music. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Her husband of 53 years; Carl Cobbs of Corunna.
Son; Craig Cobbs of Corunna.
Daughter and son-in-law; Elaine and Stu Way of Kendallville.
Daughter and son-in-law; Mary Lou and Fred Hill of Waterloo.
Three grandchildren; Shaylene and Patrick Jones of Garrett, Dax Smith and his fiancé, Shelbey Hatton of Kendallville and Miranda Hill and her fiancé, James Cole.
Four great grandchildren; Zander, Lewis, Zoelle and Selena.
Brother and sister-in-law; Jack and Brenda Shepherd of Langley, Kentucky.
Sister; Wanda Faye Turner of Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Sister; Judy Gibson of Harold, Kentucky.
Sister; Dorlis Baldridge of Wayland, Kentucky.
Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers; Bruce Shepherd, Gordon Shepherd and Bill Shepherd and 2 sisters; Betty Jean and Buellah.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street in Waterloo. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Waterloo.
Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Billy Fields.
Burial will take place in Fairfield Cemetery in Corunna.
